The Six Figure Undergrad

1 rating

A few years ago, I graduated and immediately secured a six figure salary. That was my reality and it was a total accident.

I watched guys smarter than me leave class and go make 60-75k at local contracting gigs.

Meanwhile, I landed a 100% remote job that what was worth $120k total.

The biggest difference? Focus.

By pure accident, I stumbled through a series of experiences that sharpened my specific niche. At graduation, I was already a specialist. Rather than a generalist.

That's the difference.

You can be a specialist right now and it can literally make a $50k difference.

I got lucky, but you don't have to depend on luck. There's a gameplan you can follow for this.

So what exactly is this "gameplan?"

Well, in about 30 pages I cover the exact steps needed to get to six figures. This is a process myself and others around me have done. It works.

So you're not sure how to specialize?

If you're not sure about which direction you want to take your career, this book is for you. There are so many different technologies you could specialize in... between the hundreds of javascript libraries for frontend web development or mobile apps, or the dozens of backend options. There's just too much to choose from.

Even if you choose a specialization, how would you go on about excelling in it before graduation?

These were questions I was asking aaallllll throughout university. And thankfully, I was lucky enough to have smart mentors come into my life at just the right times.

But it hurts me to see skilled students (I'm talking about my peers) graduate and land in jobs they really don't care about. They're not working on fun projects and they don't get compensated well.

This book distills everything I learned while prepping and landing a quality job into a series of actionable steps that you can get started on today.

Don't read this if...

If you're not willing to put in hard work, then this really isn't for you. This looks like a cute little guide, but it's gonna take some grinding for it to pay off like it did for me. It'll only take you a few hours to read, but it'll take months to execute. But this is your chance.

So what's included?

👉 First, we'll look at the high paying niche that most ignore.

Way too many fresh devs focus on overcrowded niches in the market. Why is everyone rushing to one thing? I'll show you something better.

👉 Second, I'll explain what makes for a good internship and how to get it.

I'll give you a hint: it's not common wisdom. People overcomplicate this step and make it such an uphill struggle just to get some experience. We'll cut right through that.

👉 Thirdly, I'll give you step by step instruction on how to become a specialist in that niche. No more generalist for you.

Most undergrads don't have much organization to the work they put in for landing a job. Even if it's popular stuff like Leetcode, side projects, or "startups." It's usually misplaced effort. I'll show what projects / materials you need to digest to achieve this next level starter income.

👉 Finally, I'll provide a list of people in this niche that can launch your career even farther. Call it a "map of the market"

It took me years to build up this list of industry experts to turn to for every question and road bump. With this fast-track, though, I'll be providing you that list in one quick swoop.

After I've equipped you with all of the tools you need, actually signing on a job will be the easiest part.

Like I said, it's all about focus. Choose to be a specialist.

All it takes is a few hours to get started.

This is the beginning of your journey to be a specialist. If you're not willing to focus now, you might not ever be.

Hope to see you inside. Looking forward to getting you that dream job.
